Six Chinese steel companies shortlisted for the 2018 World Top 500
Baowu Group was reorganized by Baosteel Group and Wuhan Iron and Steel Group in 2016. Prior to the reorganization, Baosteel Group was listed as one of the top 500 enterprises in the world for 13 years in a row, and it was the first Chinese steel company to be listed among the top 500 enterprises in the world. Although it is history, the reorganized Baowu Group has also been shortlisted for the world's top 500 for two consecutive years. Shougang and Angang were re-listed in 2018 after losing the previous election.
